Asus ROG phone 2 launched with first 120Hz display and Snapdragon 855+ SoC in India

Asus has launched the 2nd generation ASUS ROG Phone 2 of the ROG Phone Series in India. This is a Truly Gaming phone. Its backside comes with RGB Lite which gamers like a lot.

Asus ROG phone 2 comes with a 6.59-inch full-HD + display. It is the world's first smartphone display that comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1 ms response time, and 10-bit HDR support, which enhances the gaming experience. Its resolution is 1080 x 2340 pixels. This display comes with bezel-less design as it is a gaming phone with bezels to avoid unwanted touches. Protection of corning gorilla glass 6 has been given on this display.

This phone is powered by Snapdragon 855+ SoC paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. This phone comes with a dual-camera setup where a 48-megapixel primary camera and a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera with a 125-degrees field of view. It has a 24-megapixel front-facing camera.

This ROG phone 2 comes with a large 6000mAh battery. Which can be charged by fast charger. An 18-watt charger is provided inside the box but it also supports a 30-watt charger.

This phone supports both fingerprint under-display sensor and face unlock. Its backside also comes with the protection of corning gorilla glass. It has also air triggers, which prove to be of great use in games. This phone comes with 2 USB ports that support USB Type C.

Talking about its price, its 8GB / 128GB storage variant has been priced at Rs 37,999 and 12GB / 512GB variant has been priced at Rs 59,999. This phone will be available on Flipkart from 30 September.
